Silent reading that connects you to elemental forces of nature
Surrender your phone, pull up a beanbag and get lost in Lost Rocks—a slow publishing project from A.P.E. (A Published Event) that celebrates geologies of felt experience. This two-hour session of silent reading follows Lost Rocks (2025): End of an Era, where the project’s contributing artists read from an experimental library of 43 books.
Each Lost Rocks artist has worked to dissolve boundaries between the human and non-human by becoming one with the mineralogical elements. Now, it’s your chance to sit and slip deeper into a geological timeline. Soft furnishings will be provided but feel free to bring your own for extra comfort. You can read from provided copies of Lost Rocks, or bring your own book and relax.
