Ecological Gyre Theory
Chantelle and Jaxon’s practice is broadly engaged with locatedness within the natural world, and how we might better comprehend or deepen the connective possibilities of our position within the world. Their work spans the traditional exhibition format (as both artists and curators), with participatory engagements such as walkshops, workshops, and open-call publishing/exhibition formats, pedagogical exercises, extensive publishing, and lectures. They were the 2023 MADA Curators in Residence, guest editors for Swamphen Journal, and are Co-Directors of Ordinance, a new contemporary arts space in the Nicholas Building
