Prepare for a slow-motion plunge into synthesist Fia Fiell’s lush, ambient otherworlds

Unfurl next to the dusk-lit pavilion pond. Get comfortable and get immersed. Vietnamese-Australian electronic artist Fia Fiell performs as a keyboardist on multiple synthesisers, building dreamlike and haunting sonic worlds that meld lush melodic cycles, vibrant digital textures and soaring drones. Wielding an elastic approach to time and rhythm, her evocative compositions feel as powerfully affecting as they do warm, organic and intimate. She’s here, fresh from a UK/European tour, ready to stretch the twilight to her will.
