MPavilion 10 designed by Tadao AndoWe are proud to unveil the design of our tenth MPavilion by Pritzker Prize Laureate Tadao Ando, opening in the Queen Victoria Gardens this summer. MPavilion 10 represents the inimitable Japanese architect’s first Australian project, a tremendous privilege – for MPavilion in our milestone year and all of Melbourne.

‘I wanted to create an experience that will last forever in the hearts of all who visit,’ Ando avowed. ‘I imagined an architecture of emptiness that lets light and breeze enter and breathe life into it. A place that resonates with the environment, becomes one with the garden and blossoms with infinite creativity. MPavilion 10 is designed to encourage encounters with people, the natural world and endless dialogue.’
