Join Smell Art for a deep dive into the world of smell. Get ready for an unforgettable olfactory adventure at our Smell Party! Designed for curious minds aged 10-12, this interactive experience is all about exploring the fascinating world of scent through a series of smell games.

We’ll unravel the science behind how smell works, explore the difference between smell and taste, and examine the fascinating connections between smell, memories, and emotions. Don’t miss this special opportunity to embark on a sensory journey like no other.

Allergen note: kids will be invited to enjoy a vegan fruity flavoured lolly as part of this event, which contains wheat.

Kids must be accompanied at all times by a guardian. Please note: parents are not required to book a ticket.

Collaborators:

Erin Adams is an olfactory artist and the founder of Smell Art – an arts organisation focused on creating unforgettable multisensory experiences anchored in the world of smell. Her most recent projects include ‘Oceanic Refractions’ and ‘Group Sweat’ exhibited at CTM Festival X Transmediale in Berlin. Erin regularly runs ‘Sniff & Learn’ workshops, aiming to deepen people’s understanding of their sense of smell and enhance their overall quality of life.

Wominjeka (Welcome). We acknowledge the people of the Eastern Kulin Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which MPavilion stands. We pay our respects to their Elders, past and present – and recognise they have been creating, telling stories and caring for Country for thousands of generations.
