After a week of songwriting and rehearsal at Rock Academy’s famous holiday workshops, some of Melbourne’s finest teenage musicians will hit the stage and present a range of original and cover songs at MPavilion. Having been mentored and guided by the country’s finest musicians, today is your chance to see what these young talents can do!

Rock Academy is a school holiday program for teenage musicians. Mentored by professional touring musicians, the teenagers form bands, write songs and put on a show that needs to be seen to be believed.

Wominjeka (Welcome). We acknowledge the Yaluk-ut Weelam as the traditional custodians of the land on which we meet. Yaluk-ut Weelam means ‘people of the river camp’ and is connected with the coastal land at the head of Port Phillip Bay, extending from the Werribee River to Mordialloc. The Yaluk-ut Weelam are part of the Boon Wurrung, one of the five major language groups of the greater Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to the land, their ancestors and their elders—past, present and to the future.
