We’re excited to be joined by the razor-sharp team from The Conversation for a very special MPavilion Book Club session. Join Arts + Culture editor Suzy Freeman-Greene as she leads a discussion about the 2019 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction winner, Richard Powers’ grand novel The Overstory.

The Conversation is an independent source of news and views, sourced from the academic and research community and delivered direct to the public. Its team of professional editors work with university, CSIRO and research institute experts to unlock their knowledge for use by the wider public.

Wominjeka (Welcome). We acknowledge the Yaluk-ut Weelam as the traditional custodians of the land on which we meet. Yaluk-ut Weelam means ‘people of the river camp’ and is connected with the coastal land at the head of Port Phillip Bay, extending from the Werribee River to Mordialloc. The Yaluk-ut Weelam are part of the Boon Wurrung, one of the five major language groups of the greater Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to the land, their ancestors and their elders—past, present and to the future.
