Attune yourself to physical, emotional and sonic space with contemporary dancer, Deanne Butterworth
Deanne Butterworth is a dancer who moves with grace and strength—two characteristics we’d likely all love to begin our days embodying. For Wake up with Design, she’s inviting us to rouse our bodies and embrace the morning energy.
The session will be a soundtracked dance class with a warm-up and stretches. As ever, Deanne will be responding to the space. So, expect to get moving inside the pavilion and potentially use the lawns for a morning frolic. The class is open to all, with the possibility of adapting to any experience levels for those who want to attend.
Come along in your comfortable clothes and trainers and kick-start your morning with dance.

She has shown her work and performed in the works of many choreographers in Australia and internationally over the past 30 years. She regularly teaches dance at Chunky Move, Lucy Guerin Inc., and has also taught at WAAPA, VCA, Australia Ballet School, and RMIT.
