Professor Rob Adams AM

Professor Rob Adams AM is the director of City Design at the City of Melbourne and a member of the Urbanization Council of the World Economic Forum. Rob and his team have been the recipients of over 120 local, national and international awards including, on four occasions, receiving the Australian Award for Urban Design. Rob was also awarded the Prime Minister’s Environmentalist of the Year Award in 2008 and the Order of Australia in 2007 for his contribution to Architecture and Urban Design.

Wominjeka (Welcome). We acknowledge the Yaluk-ut Weelam as the traditional custodians of the land on which we meet. Yaluk-ut Weelam means ‘people of the river camp’ and is connected with the coastal land at the head of Port Phillip Bay, extending from the Werribee River to Mordialloc. The Yaluk-ut Weelam are part of the Boon Wurrung, one of the five major language groups of the greater Kulin Nation.
