Murrundaya Yepengna Dance Troupe are Kulin Nations Dancers.
Established this year, each dancer brings a lifetime of knowledge and experience in the songs and dances of many Kulin Countries. Murrundaya Yepengna is Djab Wurrung for ‘Lively Dance!’ The Murrundaya Yepengna mission is to sing and dance up Country and create connections between people, Culture, Country and community.
Led by Amos Roach and Brent Watkins, (Culture Evolves), Murrundaya Yepengna Dancers have family links to Gunditj Mara, Yorta Yorta, Mutthi Mutthi, Djab Wurrung, Wurundjeri & Bunurong Countries, amongst others.
Murrundaya Yepengna have a repertoire that encompasses traditional dance and contemporary interpretive dance. Bookings can be made for either or both types of Yepengna!
