Based in Aotearoa New Zealand, Katie Kerr is a graphic designer moonlighting as an editor and publisher. Her practice revolves around the production of experimental paperback books, with investigations into a multidisciplinary approach to publishing. With Berlin-based photographer Alice Connew, she runs the intercontinental publishing platform GLORIA, which functions as a research facility for making art and photography books. She also helps run art book distributor Expensive Hobby and publishing hub Strange Haven in Tāmaki Makarau Auckland. Kerr holds a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Canterbury (2018) and lectures at Auckland University of Technology.
