Emma Pryse

Emma Pryse is Project Coordinator for Greening the Pipeline, a partnership between Melbourne Water, Wyndham City Council, City West Water, Vic Roads and is supported by Greening the West. Emma sometimes performs as a Botanist in her show Garden Safari, but she is really an artist and a professional civil and infrastructure engineer (BEng RMIT) with a background in community arts and environmental education. She is a founding artist of the CERES Environment Park Return of the Kingfisher Festival and current Co-Chair of Greening the West.

Wominjeka (Welcome). We acknowledge the Yaluk-ut Weelam as the traditional custodians of the land on which we meet. Yaluk-ut Weelam means ‘people of the river camp’ and is connected with the coastal land at the head of Port Phillip Bay, extending from the Werribee River to Mordialloc. The Yaluk-ut Weelam are part of the Boon Wurrung, one of the five major language groups of the greater Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to the land, their ancestors and their elders—past, present and to the future.
