Alex Kennedy

Alex Kennedy is of Australian settler and migrant ancestry, who has worked and lived on the lands of the Woiwurrung (Melbourne), Kurnai (Yinnar), and Yorta Yorta (Shepparton).

Alex is Infrastructure Lead for First Peoples State Relations in the Department of Premier and Cabinet. In this role she is actively exploring how to embed principles of self-determination and the transfer of wealth to First Nations people through new approaches to built and natural environment planning, design and delivery.

Alex’s career has spanned multiple disciplines from international development, cultural collaborations to major capital projects and planning, all with a focus on rights-based partnerships.
